THE KEY TO THE BLESSINGS OF GOD
Ps 1:1-2:1
Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. 3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. 4 The ungodly are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind drives away. 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the ungodly shall perish. NKJV
WHOM DOES GOD BLESS?
A person that will be blessed by God is a person who knows God and does godly things, he/she does not follow sinners or practice their way of life and does not joke or laugh at the things of God
Luke 12:29-31 “And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. 30 For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. 31 But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you. NKJV
They key to God’s blessings is to seek the kingdom first. To follow, pursue, chase and find the ways of God
Rom 14:17 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
The kingdom of God is not in food or drink, meaning it is not physical; it is not what you consume but it spiritual and a lifestyle or a state of being. The kingdom of God is only found in the Holy Ghost. Only those who are genuinely born again can have the Holy Spirit dwelling in them. They Holy Ghost create the blessing in those He dwells in. In other words, God’s blessing is looking for those who are seeking for the kingdom of God and have a covenant relationship with God. The world is pursuing God’s blessing and God’s blessing is pursuing the children of God.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE BLESSED BY GOD?
The blessing of the Lord is the spiritual presence of God with a person that cause the person to succeed, prosper, and excel above others in all areas of life.
It is a covenant relationship between God and man that enables a person to achieve all that will makes him to succeed, increase in all things, prosper and have peace, protection and security all around. The blessing of the Lord is not a physical thing. It is not a material thing. It is not a financial thing and it is not an emotional thing. When it is present, it is capable of creating every form of blessing that a person needs in life.
Prov 10:22 The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it. NKJV
