LET THE REDEEMED OF THE LORD SAY
Ps 107:2
2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy, NKJV
Joel 3:10
10 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong. KJV
In life conversations we speak in 4 different levels
- In prayers we speak to God
- In warfare we speak against the enemies , devil and his agents
- In relationship we communicate with one another
- In retrospect or thoughts we speak to ourselves
There comes a time you take a pause to sum up courage in the face of daunting tasks, challenges and seemingly overwhelming situations to confess to yourselves and tell yourselves the truth of what the word of God says to you and about you in every situation this year, which is our promised year.
1 Sam 30:6
6 David was greatly distressed, for the men spoke of stoning him because the souls of them all were bitterly grieved, each man for his sons and daughters. But David encouraged and strengthened himself in the Lord his God. AMP
How did David encourage himself in the lord? How do you encourage yourself in the lord?
Ps 91:1-6
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” 3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler* And from the perilous pestilence. 4 He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. 5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, 6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. NKJV
David spoke to himself of the goodness of Lord and in ps 23 He reminded himself of the faithfulness of God
Ps 23:1-4
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. 3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. NKJV
How much reassurance and comfort the word of God brings to them, who know, read and use it.
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, Let the weak say I am strong!
As we begin the New Year, and the challenges and situations, you see before you are looking overwhelming and almost insurmountable. If the situation you are facing right now looks unbearable and devastating and you have done your best to the best of your knowledge and ability, then it is time to address the situation with what God has said about you. There is something God has said about your situation in the bible; you need to begin to address yourself with it. It does not matter the reality right now, symptoms, situations or fact, very soon, God’s word will become your reality. Let God’s word become your reality

The instructions was in the times of war, change your farming instrument into weapons of war and say to yourself if you are weak that you are strong, it is you that must with your mouth change your narrative, you must encourage yourself in the face of the challenges and situations. In war situations if you are weak in the face of the enemy it is a certain defeat and death, that is why it is a matter of life and death to say to yourself I am strong and the strength of God will come over you. It is not a time to cry but confess

Listen, you are no longer under the oppression of the enemies! It is the responsibility of those redeemed of the Lord to say that they are redeemed, why? It necessary to say so until it sinks into their spirit man that you are redeemed. It is not for the enemies to know because the enemies knows the truth. If God sets anyone free, the person is free indeed, so it is for the individual to have an understanding that they are free, and as they continually confess these truths it gradually becomes their reality in life. Let God’s word become your reality IJN
